うん…iphoneとてもいいと思うケド、もうほとんどの人がipodを愛用してるから、わざわざ買い換える人は少なさそうだなぁ。

画面は小さいけど、ＰＣ出来る携帯は今沢山あるし、
見やすいように色んな機能もついてる。
（ただパケットが高いからあんまり使わない）
音楽もまだ音質が良い物が少ないけど、ほとんどで聴けるし…

ソフトバンクでipod入りの携帯が出るかも！
という話があったけど、結局携帯とipodをセットで買えるだけだったんだよね～。
それがついに実現したiphone!
日本の技術で、今の日本の携帯にipodを入れられれば売れると思う。
私は、画面に傷をつけそうで、パカパカじゃないと抵抗あるんです～＞＜

あと、ワンセグは画質が悪くてまだまだ微妙なところです。
アナログの方が場合によってはキレイ。
これからの技術に期待したいです！

　私は日本人です。

　iphoneは、今のところ日本の携帯より進化しているような気がします。日本の携帯と比べたら、
iphoneの方が色々機能も多いかな。（多分。）

　iphoneが日本で発売されたとしたら、最初の一時期だけは、凄く人気が出ると思います。
でも、すぐ人気じゃなくなるかも・・・です。

　みんなiphoneを購入できるお金を持っているわけではないです。なので、買わない
人はたくさんいると思います。値段が高かったら、性能が良くても怯みます（笑）

　今まで使っている携帯が慣れていて、使いやすいので、慣れている携帯を使う人が多い
です。携帯会社もそんなに変更したりしないです。日本の主な携帯会社は、Softbank
（ソフトバンク）、au（エーユー）、docomo（ドコモ）かな？。携帯の機種は、製造している会社
によって、すぐ壊れたり不都合がでたりします。

　私の場合、携帯の機能で、主にメールと電話、写真を撮るために付いているカメラを使う
くらいなので、さほど・・・iphoneほど色々な機能は、私にとって必要ないのかもしれません。
色々な機能がありすぎると、使いこなせないかも。

　私の月の携帯料金は全て込みで４千円くらいです。仕事で使ってもこれくらいです。
私の友人は使い過ぎて３万円（！？）請求されていたことがあります。

　テレビをみたかったら家で見れますし、ネットも家で見ます。わざわざ外出して見なくても・・・
と思ってしまいます。あはは・・・ (；´∀｀)では、長文失礼しました。

自分はアメリカ在住の日本人です。
自分はプリペイド携帯を使っています。本当に電話機能だけ使っています。
日本にいたときは携帯からウェブを見るのは当たり前でした。
月額固定料金プランも大分昔からありましたし。
メールもすべて携帯に転送してメール通知機と化していました。
iPhone には月額固定料金プランがあるようですが、
現在プリペイドで安くすませている身としては（年 $100)、月 $60 は高すぎて手が出ません。
月額固定料金が安くなりさえすればと思っています。

たぶん、メール機能が充実していないと、日本では売れないと思います。
持ちやすくて、メールをタイプするのが簡単なので、
日本では折りたたみの縦型の携帯電話が人気です。

メールをあまりしないで、電話をよく掛ける人は、
iphoneに食いつくと思います。

僕はその電話を思い出します。おばは1つ持っていました。

最悪の携帯ってmotorola (spelling?) の携帯の事ですか・・？　あの薄いやつですよね・・・？

僕は1年契約でその携帯買ってしまった・・・。 fudge!

i phone は重すぎると思います。　自分はいつもポケットにいれてるので　軽いやつをいつも選びますね。今回のmotorola のように。

A couple of thoughts. American cell phones are actually not that bad anymore nowadays. In terms of phones like the iphone, there are actually a lot out there, many in development way before the iphone. HTC is a good example, they make phones like the HTC Touch, or the HTC Kaiser (aka the AT&T Tilt). In fact, Softbank carries the predecessor to the HTC Kaiser, and I cant remember if it was Docomo or Softbank which announced they’d be carrying a slightly modified HTC Touch. They do the exact same things as the iphone, only have more software or options (such as built-in GPS or actual keyboards). There’s also LG’s phones, such as the LG Prada, etc. And don’t forget the blackberries and treos out there as well. But even just regular phones are almost as good as Japanese phones now too. Samsung, LG, Nokia, these companies are putting out phones with just as much features as the Japanese phones (many of them make phones for Japan and Korea as well, Korea being ranked third in cell phone penetration rates in the world with 97%, first and second was a tie at 98% between Kuwait and the Czech Republic. Japan had 86% and the US had 81%)
Also, as evidenced by the fact that there are so many PDA phones nowadays, Americans also don’t just use phones to talk anymore, mobile businesses are now one of the fastest growing segments (take google and yahoo’s push into mobile advertising). Phone companies have given up on pushing more minutes onto you, they now do there best to convince u to get their data plans. They spend billions upgrading their data networks so they can claim to have the fastest or best internet for their phones.
I used to think that Japan has the best phones, and the US had the crappiest phones, especially ever since studying abroad there, but now, the main difference is in the design, the Japanese ones mostly look cooler and have a wider variety of colors. Most of the functions are the same.
In terms of the iphone selling in Japan, however, from a business analyst’s standpoint, its gonna do really well, no matter what people say. Apple has a pretty big following in Japan; everytime I go into Yodobashi, it amazes me at the amount of ipod accessories they have. The Apple store in Ginza was supposed the highest grossing Apple store in the world (although that may have changed with the NY one opening). I see people on the train with their ipods, their minis, their nanos, their shuffles, whatever all the time. The iphone is just another extension of that. Having it is considered the cool and hip thing, therefore people are bound to get it to show off to their friends, or to have the coolest or latest apple product. Even if some of the features might be a turnoff, it’ll sell for no other reason than because it is a well known brand. The main thing I have a beef with, and Japanese people probably will too, is the keyboard (or lack thereof). Japanese people type like demons with one hand while doing things with their other. The iphone keyboard lacks a numeric keypad that would allow japanese to text the way they currently do. I’ve tried out the iphone myself a few times, the keyboard is pretty annoying to use. I currently use the HTC Kaiser, and having actual keys to press, even if its not a numeric keyboard, makes typing a lot faster. In fact, the HTC Touch (basically a touchscreen-only phone like the iphone) I mentioned earlier that is gonna be modified for the Japanese market, is basically gonna have a sliding numeric keypad added to it.
I can go on and on, but this is long enough as it is….

アメリカではgayってどういうポジションなんですか？
youtubeで日本のＴＶ番組がアップされてると
結構な頻度でアメリカ人のgayっていうコメントを見る気がする。。
どういう意図で彼らはgayという言葉を使っているんですか？

I spent 5 years livining in U.S. and I’m developing cordless phones and cell phones in Japan now. I think Apple has great brand recognition in Japan too. Many people rush to purchase i-phone when it strated to sell in Japan. However, you know, Japanese electronics vendors know much about their Japanese customers. Although Apple has great brand and sophisticated user interface, Japanese vendors would make better product for Japanese customers.
