Wow this is the first time I’ve listened to a full Japanese speech session and understood everything. That feels awesome. I can’t speak as well as you but I’m feeling good that I understood it all.

On topic: The only one that doesn’t seem to make much sense to me is broke da mouth. In the UK, we pretty much understand any American slang/accent but these I haven’t come across before.

Some examples of Northern Ireland slang~

What about ye? = How are you?

Dead on (mate)! = Great/Perfect (or you can say “He’s dead on” = He’s a good guy)

Whatsa craic? / Whats the craic = Whats happening? / What’s so fun?

Catch yourself on = Wise up

Hard to think of more.. It even varies from place to place in this tiny country.. Just shows how different regions can really change a language around. Interesting subject!

Fargo accent is fun, yes? I started doing it at work and soon I was making fun of Sarah Palin, doncha know.

私は他のアメリカの方言は普通にわかりますが、ちょっとわからない時もあります。ハワイの家族がいなかったなら、ハワイ弁が本当に難しくなる。

アメリカの南の方へ行ったらも、ちょっとわからなくなると思います：）

僕はハワイ出身だけど、ピジンってあんまり使わないんです。「Local」か「Moke」のまねができますが、普通、「アメリカの標準語」を使いますよ。ピジンの単語を時々使いますけど、「Ho, howzit brah」とか「Dey get some ono grindz, brah」のような”Full-on Pidgin”を言えば、めちゃ恥ずかしいよ。ハワイ育ちの人たちがみんなピジンを使うとは限らないんですよ。＾＾でも、このビデオは本当に面白かったです。KoichibenもTofuguも応援しています。これからもよろしくお願いします。
